Local Pardeeville-Piper's Place!

Family, friends, locals, fans of small businesses - Everybody!  Thank you for taking the time to even click on this link - even if you just want to hear more about what's going on!  As most of you know we have been dedicating all of our time, money and resources to our business venture.  Many people have asked, how they can help - some of you may not have asked but we know you're wondering!   I'll start with a little backstory (I'll try to keep it short and sweet).

Cameron and I brought our sweet little Piper back to Wisconsin (my homeland) to meet her family during my maternity leave.  We mostly stayed in Pardeeville, which is where I grew up, with my brother, sister-in-law and nephews.  When I left this little town at the age of 18 - I anticipated I would be back but only to visit; never to live. After having Piper I looked a the town through new eyes - it's a safe place to raise a family where your whole village watches out for them.  If you're a local then you know there's been a little liquor store and bait shop on the lake right on Main Street at the old Mobile station (which has been many businesses throughout the years).  My brother (thanks DB!) knew it was for sale and told us we should check it out.  Needless to say we spent quite a lot of time looking around that little store two summers ago.... scheming ideas, talking to the owner, talking ourselves in and then out and then back in to the possibilities.

Fast forward - we decided we wanted our kids to grow up by family so we took a leap and we have been in business now for just over a year. Now the renovations for Piper's Place are finally in full swing.  In the planning phases, nobody (at least we had no idea - total rookies here) tells you that the renovation process is very arduous, review after review and finally an approval, only to be followed up by another review and finally another approval.  It's a LOT and it costs big dollars every single time. It's a wonder many small businesses survive especially if they want to try to do something new and different!  BUT we see the potential and we have the vision and we want Piper's Place to be the place that people can come together and hang out - a place with a friendly and relaxed lakeside vibe.  We want it, the people want it, the village needs it!  There is so much untapped potential in this little lake town.

So why are you here reading this?  We want and need your help and support.  We want to make an impact to this community and as we have been working through this renovation process we are like every other construction project - OVER BUDGET and BEHIND.  Welcome to reality right?  But we thought there might be some people that actually WANT to help but might not know how.  Maybe you're a local business that wants to support a local business, maybe you just want a place on the water you can walk to, to have a cold beer, maybe you are a friend or family member that believes in what we are doing and wants to help, maybe you just want your name etched somewhere, maybe you like free beer or maybe you just have a bunch of extra cash (or sofa money) you aren't sure what to do with it. $1, $5, $100, hard labor, light labor, boat mechanics... ETC!  If you dollars (or cents) or have a skill and want to help - stop by or send us a message.  We will take any support we can use!  Is it tacky?  Maybe! We'll call it a transparent fundraiser and everybody likes to support different things. So here goes nothing.....

Where's your money going?  It's going directly to the renovations, the HVAC, an exterior facelift, the bathrooms, the equipment, the finishes, AND the ROOFTOP deck (Harper's Landing) - if we make it that far!   How can you be sure?  You can drive by or stop in and see the progress!

What do you get?  You get to be a part of something cool - you get to help fund a family, a vision and local community members who want to help improve the village economy, bring in local revenue and make positive changes to our community.   Invest in us and we will invest in our community - that is our promise.

** ALSO  (the best part) if you are generous enough to give $50 or more your name will be forever present in our place of business (and hearts) AND your first beer will always be on the house. The same goes for anybody who gives us any significant amount of labor (you know,  more than picking up a tissue blowing through our parking lot).

If you made it this far. Thank you. Thank you. THANK YOU. If you don't have any THINGS to give, send us your positive words and support.

Thanks again!
