Lakeland school would love to restructure its Library space with new and modern furniture, as the current tables and chairs are 19 years old!
Lakeland Elementary Middle School is located in southwest Baltimore with just under 900 students who enter the school doors on a daily basis. The demographics of students served are 55% Hispanic/Latino, 38% African American and 6% White. Currently there is no library in the Lakeland Community therefore the Lakeland library serves as a place where students have access to check out books.
We are very excited about the possibilities of recreating the Lakeland Library space! Please find your place in this cause! You can either run with the Lakeland Lion Pack at the Baltimore Running Festival or donate here! However you can support, we appreciate you!
