Lake House 13 Fire Relief

Lake House 13 caught fire early in the morning on Tuesday, February 27th. The building and most everything inside it appear to be a total loss. My name is Michael Kiel, I'm the founder of BoatPlanet.com , and I'm friends with the owner. I'm hoping the Lake of the Ozarks community, both full-timers and weekend warriors can come together to help Dustin (owner of Lake House 13) rebuild. I'm setting the goal at $5,000 initially. The funds raised will be used to help pay the insurance deductible and help bridge the gap between the date of the loss and when proceeds are received from the insurance company.


Lake House 13 was our little hideout when we wanted to get away from the busy waterfront bars or just have a chill evening watching some great bands. We spent Harbor Hop there watching the Kentucky Derby in goofy outfits. We slept on our boat overnight on their docks numerous times. Heck, we even hired a band we saw play at Lake House 13 for our wedding! Let's do what we can to help so we can once again enjoy our little hideout bar on the 13MM.

"At a loss for words. Sometime around dawn, I received a phone call that Lake House 13 had caught fire. By the time I arrived the flames had pretty much taken over and the fire department was on the scene. I don’t have too much information as to the cause and am definitely still processing this but I wanted to at least address the situation. I also wanted to thank everyone for the outpouring of support I have already received. So many people have put their heart and soul into this place to help make it what it was and for that, I am eternally grateful and humbled. I will be sure to keep this page updated as developments arise. Thank you again for all of the support and love. It is still going to be a great summer at Lake of the Ozarks!"
