Lake Charles Animal Rescues Need Your Help

LA ANIMAL RESCUES NEED YOUR HELP! Lake Charles, LA and it's surrounding parishes have been decimated after the cat 4 hurricane Laura hit Louisiana August 26, 2020. Cities have been ravaged, buildings destroyed, roofs collapsed, windows been blown out, streets are in complete ruin, and lives have been forever changed.
Not only are peoples lives affected but so are the lives of the animals in shelters and rescues. Those animals that survived the deadly storm don't have food, access to clean water, medical supplies, kennels or properly fenced yards due to the massive destruction of the storm. These supplies need to be purchased and trucked in but just as important, fences and roofs need repairing/replacing and hundred year old trees that have been uprooted need to be cleared. The rebuild is massive!
THE ANIMAL RESCUES IN THE LAKE CHARLES AREAS DESPERATELY NEED YOUR HELP TO REBUILD!! Repairs to buildings and fences, supplies like food and medical, and kennels are needed. THE SITUATION IS DIRE. Right now they are trying to address the immediate need of food and water but repairs to buildings and roofs is imperative to protect the animals from the sweltering heat and sun. Without this, they will die from starvation, illness, or the elements.
This fundraiser is sponsored by New Beginnings GSP Rescue of Maryland who works with the rescues from the Lake Charles area and needs your help raising money to help them rebuild. ALL DONATIONS RECEIVED WILL BE DIVIDED AMONG THOSE RESCUES THAT HAVE BEEN HIT THE HARDEST. (We hope to raise enough money to give to ALL the rescues in the area!!)
