Lailah’s fight For life

During a routine visit to her doctor last week, little Lailah was found to have a severe infection in her body causing her kidneys to fail. She was quickly hooked to a variety of IV’s and monitors and transferred to Marshfield to undergo more intense testing. Being only a few months old her little body couldn’t fight the infection properly and her kidneys were on a losing battle. She was originally put at a Stage 2 kidney failure but after yesterday’s tests she is now at a very severe Stage 5. Mom(Shawna Kuhrt) and Dad(Jack Bauer/Smith) are both having to High expenses for traveling back and forth from Rice Lake to Marshfield nearly daily as they each are forced to continue working as much as possible and have two other young children to care for. Any little bit would help cushion them for the amount of time they have already had to take from work as well as the upcoming days where they face uncertainty over Lailah’s procedures. She will likely require surgery but at the very least many more days in the hospital. Please help these scared and worried parents have just a little less stress financially so they can be with their baby girl as much as possible through all of this.
