Hello, my name is Aaron and I'm helping raise money for Lailah's emergency medical bills.

Before Lailah adopted me as one of her owners, she was adopted from OC Animal Care by my fiancé, Savannah, in 2012, and has been a beloved companion to us both. She has especially brought Savannah an immense amount of comfort during some of the most challenging moments of her life. Lailah means the world to us both and we would do anything to help her.

Very recently, Lailah started to lose a lot of weight despite eating and drinking normally. A visit to the vet told us that she had a large mass growing in her spleen causing her to become anemic, and that she would need a splenectomy to have the tumor removed. She would also need a liver biopsy as nodules were identified on her liver.

We've taken out loans to help pay the upfront cost of surgery, hospital care, and whatever else Lailah needs in the future. We have also used a large portion of the money we have been saving up for wedding costs to be able to pay for Lailah’s immediate care. We are hoping to use any help received to not only offset some of the financial burden of these loans, but also for any additional tests/services Lailah might need. She was deemed a good candidate for the surgery and we believe that the successful removal of her spleen will allow her to go back to her happy and comfortable self should the biopsy indicate her tumor as being non-cancerous.
