Help us GRADUATE as Registered Nurses!
The Los Angeles Harbor College Associate Degree Nursing Program graduating class of Fall 2014 needs help! Our class consists of 29 dedicated nursing students who will be completing the nursing program with a ceremony on December 19, 2014. All 29 of us have our own story of why we are devoting our lives to helping the sick and why we have chosen this path (or how this path has chosen us). After two years of countless hours of studying and practicums and working with patients in the clinic setting, we are now finally planning our pinning ceremony and the day we will become Registered Nurses.
It is customary for the graduating class to pay for their own ceremony, so we are asking for your help. Would you consider making a donation to help support our ceremony? Maybe you're a florist and can donate the flowers, or a printer and can print our programs. Everything helps us get there! Funds will be used for such things as the venue, printed programs, lamps for the tradition of taking the Florence Nightingale pledge, and other associated ceremony costs (caps, gowns, etc.). Just $1 from each of our Facebook friends will help pay for this long-awaited occasion.
