Are you looking for a different kind of education for your children, one that would put them in charge of their lives and allow them to pursue their interests and passion in a safe environment?
So are we! Self-Directed Education and Agile Learning Centers are part of a growing global movement in education, but unfortunately, such an option does not yet exist in the Lafayette area. We are asking for your help to change that. Your financial contribution today will help us bring this 21st century educational opportunity to the people of Lafayette and Acadiana.
Who are we? We are a group of parents who, after careful research, have decided that Self-Directed Education is the best for our children and we are determined to open a learning center in Lafayette serving children ages 5 to 18.
The Lafayette Liberty Learning Center is part of the Agile Learning Centers network and will be located downtown Lafayette. We are planning to open in August 2019, which doesn’t give us much time and we have lots to do!
Registration is already underway and going well. We are asking for your financial contribution in order to secure the site we have in mind, to prepare and furnish it for opening in August, and to organize as a non-profit entity (the filing fees alone are several hundred dollars).
Will you help us? Will you contribute $20, $50, $100, or more to help us make this a reality? Will you share with your family and friends and encourage them to do the same? Every little bit helps and will get us closer to opening our doors and welcoming our students.
