Evee's Adoption

In August of 2007 Jamaica and I were so happy to take in a beautiful 3 month old little girl named Stevee, (later to become Evee) a relative of Jamaica's. Her biological mother suffers from a lifelong struggle with addiction. In December of 2013 we became foster parents so we could take in Evee's half brother, Royce, who will be transitioning to his father's in the next month or so. Evee and Royce's mother has now been sober for approximately 4 months and has expressed interest in regaining custody of Evee, which we believe would be a huge disservice to her and, of course, would break our hearts. Bio mom has verbally given us her blessing but we feel much urgency that the time to complete her adoption is now. We currently don't have the means to make the adoption happen so we're asking for help from our friends. If you have a few extra dollars and wish to help our family we would be forever grateful.
