Dear Family and Friends of Alberto's,
Your help is desperately needed for two people in our Alberto's family who have
come upon difficult times - Lady and Cheyln.
Many of you have gotten to know Lady in the last three years at the club as our
loving and fun bartender. She greets us with a smile, makes us feel at home, and is always eager to help. And let’s not forget those killer drinks she makes!
On Sunday morning, March 13th, Lady was driving home after working the night shift at Alberto's. It had been raining all weekend, and the storm
was still very strong. Her car hydroplaned, causing her to lose control and crash.
She ended up at Stanford hospital in pretty bad shape.
Thankfully, she survived the accident but was banged up from head to toe with two broken ankles. She’ll need many months of rehab, which may not be totally covered by her insurance.
Her car was totaled, and she had to withdraw from her classes at College of San Mateo.
Cheyln, another member of Alberto’s family and a staple at the club, also needs your help.
For over ten years, Cheylyn has greeted us at the door, brought us drinks and served as the right-hand man for Patty and Jamyl. You all know he’s over
the top when it comes to customer service!
Cheyln has been in the hospital for the last two months battling liver disease.
His prognosis is good, and he’s slowly getting better each day, but he could really use some help offsetting his medical and home care costs.
There is no contribution too small you can give. Every dollar counts, and anything you donate will be split evenly between Lady and Cheyln (you can fund anonymous, 92% goes to Lady and Cheyln).
We Salseros take care of our own, especially our Alberto's family!

Se necesita su ayuda desesperadamente para dos personas de la familia de Albertos que en estos momentos estan pasando por momentos dificiles, Lady & Chelyn
Muchos de ustedes han llegado a conocer a la Lady en los últimos tres años en el club como nuestra bartender cariñosa y divertida. Ella nos da la bienvenida con una sonrisa, nos hace sentir como en casa, y siempre está dispuesto a ayudar. Y no nos olvidemos de esas estupendas bebidas que ella prepara.
El domingo por la mañana, 13 de marzo, Lady conducía a casa después de trabajar el turno de noche en Albertos. Había estado lloviendo todo el fin de semana, y la tormenta
todavía era muy fuerte. Su coche patinó, haciendo que se pierda el control y se estrellara.
Ella terminó en el hospital de Stanford en muy mal estado.
Afortunadamente, ella sobrevivió al accidente, pero fue golpeada de la cabeza a los pies con dos tobillos rotos. Ella necesitará muchos meses de rehabilitación, que pueden no estar totalmente cubierto por su seguro.
Su coche quedó destrozado, y tuvo que retirarse de sus clases en el Colegio de San Mateo.
Cheyln, otro miembro de la familia de Alberto y un elemento básico en el club, también necesita su ayuda.
Desde hace más de diez años, Cheyln nos ha recibido en la puerta, nos trajo las bebidas y servido como la mano derecha de Patty y Jamyl. Todos ustedes saben lo importante que es cuando se trata de servicio al cliente!
Cheyln ha estado en el hospital durante los últimos dos meses luchando contra una enfermedad hepática.
Su pronóstico es bueno, y que está mejorando poco a poco cada día, pero en realidad podría utilizar un poco de ayuda compensando sus costos médicos y de atención domiciliaria.
No hay una contribución muy pequeña todas son bienvenidas. Cada dólar cuenta, y cualquier cosa que usted done se dividirá entre la Lady y Cheyln.
