Bruins Basketball to Nationals

Lady Bruins 5th Grade Basketball is traveling to New Orleans in 5 weeks to compete in the AAU 5th grade D2 Nationals competition and in order to get there we will need to raise at least $4000. The money will be used for the entrance fee and room and board for the players during the five days of competition.
Words from the Coach: "Today my heart is full as a coach! This is one of the hardest working, toughest and best group of girls that I've ever had the pleasure of working with. Today we reached a goal that we set at the start of the season. I am proud to call us the AAU 5th Grade D2 State Champs! Congrats ladies!!!"
This is the first 5th grade team to qualify for Nationals from the Charlottesville area! These girls have trained very hard for the past 9 months in the hopes of making it to Nationals and have definitely earned this opportunity.
