Lady Pulse Family

Six years ago I was asked to volunteer as a soccer coach for my daughters U9 soccer team.  We were a "B" team made up of girls cast off by other teams, and lost every game our 1st season.  The pure joy my girls had, as seen in this picture from our last game of that winless season then, still defines the culture my coaches and I have built to this day. This picture still hangs on my wall as a reminder to always remember what's important: the love of team sports, our teammates/sisters, and this special Lady Pulse "family".  Fast forward to today and my girls are 6x Champions (Tournaments and Flight).  Each player is defined by her nickname: Kit Kat, Hollywood, Showtime, Hammer, Lightning, Lion, Rock, Maze, Thunder, Cyclone, Magic, Bash, Bam Bam, Crash, Ms. Scott, Gazelle, Hawk, Animal, Scrappy, Goblin, and Storm.  Their nicknames have become household names not only around this team, but around our community.  The bond these girls have formed is unbreakable, and having watched them grow from little girls to young woman has been one of the greatest joys in my life.  My team plays all year round, and I have developed an environment that allows them to experience life both on and off the soccer field.  My love for my daughter has expanded to the love of our team, and my daughter's and my experiences off the field have become team experiences and vacations.  My daughter would have it no other way.  She is selfless to a fault, and walking this path as her father/coach is something I will always cherish.  Our team and my players have built memories that I hope will last a lifetime.  Now, as they enter High School, the time for fundraising, coin drops, breakfast at local restaurants and weekends working snack stands is becoming tougher and tougher.  My girls have informed me that they would like to stay together and continue playing into High School, and with your help we can continue to walk this path together.  The link below will share with you some of our most recent activities from 2018.  The funding raised will go towards travel and tournament play, activities both on and off the field, charities we work with at Christmas and Easter, soccer apparel, and keeping this group of girls together as long as possible.  Give what you can, and please accept my sincere appreciation for helping keep our "family" together!          https://www.instagram.com/lady_pulse_/
