Lacy’s Cake Shop Bakery Dream

To begin, I am creating this fundraiser in hopes that I can open my bakery and allow my business to remain debt free. I am asking for support from my friends and family in doing so. I have always worked hard for everything I have and this bakery will be no different. I do not want to go in with a debt already looming. I want to be sucessful from day one. Bakery’s are hard to get going due to the large amount of cost to get them started, and getting the support to back them. My town is dying for a bakery. I have multiple local businesses wanting my products in their stores, but I have to turn it down due to my confined space.
Baking has been something that I have been passionate about for most of my life. Cake decorating began 9 years ago as a hobby when a friend couldn’t afford a cake for her son, and I made it for her. She kept referring people to me and I stayed booked. I am passionate about all things baking, I strive to better my talent with every cake I do. I spend hours looking up recipes and techniques. I want to be the best.
I have set out to open my doors before Valentine’s Day and I know it is possible, but I know I will need help. I have prayed about this date and went back and forth on if I could make it happen. I feel like the answer is always to not give up and keep pushing, pride has kept me from reaching out before but now I know that I must put that aside.
The location I have picked out is prime, it was a small restaurant before, and I feel as if I will be very successful there. I will have a huge Grand Opening that I will be sure to invite everyone to.. it means the world to me simply that you read this and if you are willing to share it and send prayers that my dream is a success it would mean that much more. I appreciate EVERYONE that has supported me every step of the way.
