Hello Everyone !
As many of you may already know, our friend Mr. Lachhuman Rana had emergency open heart surgery to by-pass four of his arteries. Mr. Lachhuman visited emergency room after a mild chest pain and was diagnosed with the Coronary Artery Disease (CAD), the arteries that supply blood and oxygen to heart muscle grow hardened and narrowed. Per Doctor, Lachhuman Rana had developed high risk of heart attack and was advised to go with immediate coronary by-pass surgery. Therefore, he had no other choice than to go with immediate open heart surgery.
The Surgery took place on December 2, 2017 at the Boulder Community Health, 4747 Arapahoe Avenue. Doctors were successfully able to by-pass four of his main arteries. In his case, surgery created a new path for blood to flow to the heart. The surgeon took a healthy piece of vein from his leg and attached it to the coronary artery, just above and below the narrowed area or blockage. This allows blood to bypass (get around) the blockage. He is in the good care of expert heart specialist and is recovering well from his surgery.
We have never seen someone stay so strong and fight so hard to stay on top of everything what he is going through. Lachhuman is an incredible human being, an amazing father, passionate, loving, caring and motivated soul. He is our hero, and a huge inspiration, not only to Nepalese community but to everyone that knows him.
Having to leave his work for several months, it is obvious that he will have limited source of income to support himself and his beloved family. Regardless of his insurance paying most of his medical expenses, he will have to catch up with his share of recurring monthly hospital expenses.
Together, we joined our hands in the past when it comes to show our generosity to support someone in need, we have a goal to raise $30,000.00 to support Mr. Lachhuman Rana, and we hope that you will be able to make a contribution. Your generosity will make a difference in our community by allowing us to support paying his soaring medical needs.
