lacey mai was born five and half weeks early in royal preston hospital she was born breach with the cord around her kneck so didnt take her first breath on her own for 13 minuates as so this starved laceys brain of oxygen which left her with serious brain damage at birth doctors told me and dad that lacey wasnt going to make it out off neonatel unit in preston wherelacey spent 11 weeks being ventilated and needing medication . however much the doctors told us to turn the machines off we keep strong and keept fighting and so did lacey mai as she progressed off the ventilator and into breathing on her own after 11 long weeks on december the 23rd 2015 lacey was finally allowed to come home but still needing constant monertering and suction after a few month at home lacey became unwell and needed to go back to hospital where she was diagnosed with two forms off epilepsy infintile spasams and myclonic jerks so is now on two forms off medication too try keep these fits under control lacey is constantly in and out off hospital with her seizures and her chest as she is prown to infections it really breaks are hearts as parents to have to go through this but we stay strong for lacey and her brother and sister we are trying to fund raise to give are daughter the best things in life like once in a lifetime trips to see the world with us her family as no one knows what the future holds with lacey but dad and laceys brother and sister will be arranging sponserd walks and allsorts off stuff to try raise funds for laceys dreams to come true so if anybody out there would like to donate towards laceys dream please feel free to do so we would much appriciate it #doingitforlacey-mai thanks again tracy tom mikki and sean laceys family it would mean the world to us if people could donate every little helps and laceys dreams will come true xx

update iam thomas turner (lacey-mais dad) and where from longridge preston lancashire and where looking at making special family memories with are ill daughter as we dont get to do alot with all her needs we have two other children and thought it would be nice to raise money to go to disney-land and lapland as a family and also to get any adaptions to are garden for lacey to be able to go outside in summer
