La72 is a non-profit organization that works for migrants and refugees who travel through the Mexican border area Tenosique-Tabasco, A region which is known as the most dangerous point for the migrants. La72's work doesn't stop with providing shelter, their goal is to create an environment for the migrants where they feel at home and receive the mental support they need. La72 also offers migrants legal advice.
Funding
The entirety of the amount collected, except for the cut that Go Fund Me takes in order to offer their services, on this Go Fund Me goes to the organization La72. We have a contact person in Mexico who works with the organization and who will buy clothing, shoes, baby bottles, and diapers among other things with the money and brings it to la72 where these products are badly needed.
