My Mission Trip to South Sudan

Tug, tug, tug, nudge, nudge, nudge,...is exactly how God placed this trip on my heart. When I read our weekly church bulletin a few weeks ago the mission trip to South Sudan jumped out at me and I immediately felt a tug on my heart and a big nudge from God. Really Lord? Africa? So I started praying about it, I thought maybe I was mistaken, I had doubts. Are you sure Lord? Me? I have never done a trip like this. Tug, tug,nudge, nudge... The next Sunday I ran into a friend at church, she was so excited because she's going on the trip to South Sudan! What?? My friend is going? Well that gave me courage to find out more, as it turns out there was one spot left just for me! Ok, God, I got the message. I feel God has lead me to this and I can choose how to respond, I can ignore it or I can step out in faith and obedience. I choose to be faithful and obey!

I will be traveling to South Sudan with seven other women from  Salinas Valley Community Church in June. We will be helping with a women's ministry program, vocational school and craft ministry. I am most excited to connect with the people and serve them while sharing about Christ's love. Financially this trip is a leap of faith as well, it is not cheap, although most of the cost is airfare. I humbly ask if you would consider supporting me in this? Honestly this is a tough question for me to ask, I like to do things on my own!   Any type of support be it, well wishes, prayer, or financial is greatly appreciated! Any amount would be a huge help! I would also love to share my experience with you, thank you I'm deeply grateful.
