La Suprema Live for Lalo Guerrero Elderly Housing

Businesses in the Barrio Viejo in Tucson, AZ are joining forces to bring you a fun, engaging event, all while raising important funds for our neighbors at the Lalo Guerrero Elderly Housing Complex. We're cooking for a cause with Chef Moody Elbarasi from The Coronet.

A Barrio Home Tour fundraiser for Lalo Guerrero House was originally scheduled for early April has been postponed to the fall, leaving the elderly housing without crucial operating funds. The sidewalk and steps at the house are in dire need of repair, with total costs nearing $40,000 USD. We hope we can raise those funds in the fall, when the home tour is rescheduled, and in the meantime are working to provide grocery packs  for our neighbors.

We know the risks of traveling to the grocery store right now, so we're doing our part to bring groceries and personal hygiene items to the 65 residents at the home.

$2000 would provide each resident with a grocery bag of food and personal hygiene items — enough to support them for a week. That means with 65 donations of $30 each, we can reach our goal.
