 Moises es un joven lleno de vida que hoy se encuentra luchando por su vida en un hospital, en coma, debido a una enfermedad extremadamente rara y grave llamada Naegleria fowleri.

 Todo comenzó con fuertes dolores de cabeza. Nunca me imagine que algo asi pudiera ser tan grave. El viernes por la noche lleve a moises al hospital de Burlington buscando ayuda, pero no nos brindaron ayuda un doctor entro a verlo y después nos informo que podíamos regresar a casa.

 La situación solo empeoró rápidamente. La mañana del sábado tuve que venirme de el trabajo a las 7am para venirme a el hospital de emergencia UNC hospital, donde finalmente descubrieron que moises estaba enfrentando una infección por Naegleria fowleri, una ameba extremadamente rara que puede entrar por la nariz y llegar al cerebro qué causa inflación , infección, y daño cerebral.

 Desde ese momento, nuestra vida cambió por completo. Moises se encuentra en coma los médicos estan haciendo todo lo possible para combatir esta enfermedad y darle una oportunidad para salir adelante.

 Como su madre me podrán entender que es una situación terrible y muy preocupante, estamos pasando por los momentos más difíciles de nuestras vidas. Los gastos médicos, transporte,alimentación, y todas las necesidades que han sugerido durante esta emergencia son una carga enorme para nosotros.

 Por eso les pedimos de corazón a todas las familias que lean esto que nos apoyen con lo que puedan o cualquier apoyo para moises ponce mendoza.
