</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>

</div>

</div>
<div><strong>La</strong> <strong>historia </strong>
</div>

<div><strong>Introduction</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Hello, my name is David Pulido Terán, and since I was a child, I've always loved telling stories. That's why I studied film at the Luis Buñuel Film School in Veracruz from 2015 to 2019. When it came time to shoot what would be my thesis project, circumstances beyond my control and the arrival of the pandemic prevented me from filming the project.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Despite this, I kept writing, and in 2020, the idea for Romelina's Hen was selected for the DE IDA Y VUELTA: Scriptwriting Tutorials for Fiction Short Films program at the Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica A.C. (CCC). Then, during 2022 and 2023, I was part of the screenwriting generation of young creators at FONCA, where I wrote my first feature-length fiction film. Finally, in 2024 and 2025, I studied at the CCC screenwriting course, where I developed different projects.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I love writing and using my imagination, and now it's time to bring the written word to life, starting with Romelina's Hen, a project that will result in a 100% Xalapa-made short film and my thesis to finally graduate and finish what I started several years ago.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>The story</strong>
</div>
<div>This is the story of Romelina, a shy and lonely housewife who travels to Xalapa with her most precious cargo: a hen with an arrogant attitude. However, upon arriving in the city, the hen escapes from her hands and now she will have to search for it in a city unknown to her. In this adventure, she will find her own courage and the power of friendship.

<div>We are a group of young filmmakers from the state of Veracruz, excited to film stories that take place in the areas where we grew up and hold dear to our hearts.
</div>

</div>
<div>Through this campaign, your contribution and the money raised will be used to complete our production plan, which is necessary to meet the requirements of the 2026 filmmaking funding call (FOCINE).
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>One chicken does not make a coop, and as an independent production, it is essential for us to have the support of the audience we want to reach.
