La Donna Mills Medical & Recovery

In early November, Ladonna received some of the most horrifying news one can hear.  The results of her recent mammogram showed multiple masses in her right breast.  She sat in her car and cried as she received the news, just as any person would.    LaDonna  knew she needed to be  strong and she was determined to overcome an obstacle put in front of her.  She is a fighter.  She only took a few moments to cry and then picked herself up and went to cheer on her daughter at her high school volleyball game.   No one in the crowd could have even suspected what she was going through in her head that night as she sat and cheered for her girl and I have never been more in awe of someone.   I have watched her selflessly work 2 and 3 jobs to support her wonderful family of 4 children and never once take a breath for herself.  Even as she was beginning to fight this battle with cancer, even more strife came her way.  She fell and broke her arm as well on Nov. 19th .  Knowing she it cause a complication with her surgery, she has chosen to wear a soft cast for now until after her surgery is complete and she can get a hard cast.  This is just one more thing added to her already full plate.  Now is the time that she needs to take a breath and take time for herself.  Yet, she is worried about supporting her family as she is in recovery.  This is where we come in.  If you know La Donna, you love La Donna and we need to help support her in her time of need.  On December 21st, she will have a mastectomy with reconstruction to remove the 6 masses of cancer in her body.  La Donna will be in recovery for 4 - 6 weeks and not able to work.  This is a woman who doesn't know what it means to NOT work but she has to take time off to heal.  We need to help her and ease the financial worry that she is going through.  Please take a few minutes to donate even the smallest amount.
