L.A. CADA Housing / LGBTQ
Join us in making a difference! Currently our L.A. CADA’s START House (Recovery Bridge Housing) for the LGBTQ community, in Altadena are empty and need to be furnished. We are asking for your support. Our goal is to raise $15,000 to furnish the three homes on the lot. We plan to utilize these funds by purchasing living room, bedroom, office, and kitchen furniture, along with the
essentials for the homes such as towels, bedding, dishes, and rugs. Please help us reach our goal by donating. Thank you in advance for your contribution.
L.A. CADA’s START House (Recovery Bridge Housing) for the LGBTQ community program provides a safe interim living environment for people who are homeless and are in intensive outpatient (IOP) or outpatient (OP) treatment to address substance-related
issues. RBH services are free to our residents. People can access 90 days of RBH housing per year. We assist our residents in navigating the Coordinated Entry System (CES) with a goal of obtaining permanent housing before they leave their ALTADENA House.
Our mission is to save lives, unite families, and protect the community through addiction counseling and healthy living education. L.A. CADA's vision is to enhance the educational and economic well-being of the
people it serves by means of direct human services, advocacy, and referrals. Our values seek the empowerment of people through compassion, perseverance and respect.
