La balada del cuerpx

¡Hola! Mi nombre es José David Cerda, soy co director, coreografo y bailarín profesional de la Cía. de danza contemporánea Puntos de Partida. En 2020 inicié con esta nueva creación escénica de gran formato y actualmente estoy por terminarla con la ayuda y colaboración del Centre Cívic Pere Quart, el Ateneu de Fabricación Sustentable de Les Corts, PAM Project, Teatre Nau Ivanow y otras industrias creativas de Barcelona.

Este proyecto consiste en crear una obra de danza contemporánea que habla sobre la identidad de origen y el sentido de pertenencia como un fenomeno en constante movimiento, así com del acto de migración como un factor que enriquece la historia de la humanidad. Ha sido un largo camino para crear este proyecto, sin embargo aún necesito un poco de tu ayuda para poder terminar de producir esta nueva obra, donde trabajan alrededor de 13 creativos de México, España, China, Venezuela y Francia.

Este es un proyecto importante para mí no solo a nivel personal y profesional, ya que esta obra es un medio para promover un mensaje humanitario y unificador de las diferentes identidades, el movimiento migratorio en el mundo y también reúne la filosofía, la visión y el estilo de cada uno de los artistas involucrados generando un universo único.

Es un proyecto socialmente comprometido, ya que amplifica la historia de esos cuerpos en movimiento y esas identidades no identificadas, pues de alguna manera difundimos un mensaje solidario que ayuda resignificar de manera positiva los roles y valores de estas personas en la nueva sociedad.

La balada del cuerpx pretende ser una obra que invite a la reflexión sobre nuestra historia, reconectar con nuestros antepasados, pensar en valores humanos como la solidaridad y el respeto. Para pensar y entender que la identidad es una constante, que la migración es un fenomeno natural del ser humano y no un problema, para rescatar prácticas y valores que han sostenido a la humanidad durante años y han hecho surgir nuevos caminos, nuevas civilizaciónes y nuevas culturas.

Sinopsis:

LA BALADA DEL CUERPX es una obra de danza contemporánea, que busca develar y plasmar diversos rincones de la identidad y las rutas migratorias de los bailarines y sus antepasados.

A través de las escenas, podremos degustar de como el/la cuerpx se construye a partir de premisas de improvisación y pautas musicales que enmarcan al cuerpx en diversos conceptos y contextos que transmiten la historia, la poética y lo abstracto de ¨ser¨y ¨estar¨.

 

Es un viaje a la historia de lxs cuerpxs que habitan la escena y que a la vez representa la de la migración de la humanidad misma. No hay sinopsis precisa o palabras concretas, ante esta una construcción coreográfica tan compleja e impermanente; es una prosa que se transforma y a la vez recrea nuevas estructuras para referirse al cuerpx, a lo intangible, a lo imaginario, a lo sensible, a lo bestial, a lo onírico y lo abstracto.

 

No hay sinopsis precisa, solo hay cuerpx.

¿En qué usaría este presupuesto?

El presupuesto se empleará en pagar un 20% del costo de materiales de producción para la escenografía y vestuarios, un 80% de los honorarios de los bailarines y creativos de la obra.

Hello! My name is José David Cerda, I am co-director, choreographer and professional dancer of the contemporary dance company Puntos de Partida. In 2020 I started with this new large format scenic creation and I am currently about to finish it with the help and collaboration of the Centre Cívic Pere Quart, the Ateneu de Fabricación Sustentable de Les Corts, PAM Project, Teatre Nau Ivanow and other creative industries of Barcelona.

This project consists of creating a contemporary dance piece that talks about the identity origin and the sense of belonging as a phenomenon in constant movement, as well as the act of migration as a factor that enriches the history of humanity. It has been a long road to create this project, but I still need a little bit of your help to be able to finish producing this new artwork, where about 13 creatives from Mexico, Spain, China, Venezuela and France are working.

This is an important project for me not only on a personal and professional level, since this work is a means to promote a humanitarian and unifying message of the different identities, the migratory movement in the world and also brings together the philosophy, vision and style of each of the artists involved generating a unique universe.

It is a socially committed project, as it amplifies the story of those bodies in movement and those unidentified identities, because somehow we spread a message of solidarity that helps to resignify in a positive way the roles and values of these people in the new society.

La balada del cuerpx aims to be a work that invites reflection on our history, to reconnect with our ancestors, to think about human values such as solidarity and respect. To think and understand that identity is a constant, that migration is a natural phenomenon of human beings and not a problem, to rescue practices and values that have sustained humanity for years and have led to the emergence of new paths, new civilizations and new cultures.

Synopsis:

LA BALADA DEL CUERPX is a contemporary dance work, which seeks to unveil and capture various corners of the identity and migratory routes of the dancers and their ancestors.

Through the scenes, we will be able to taste how the cuerpx is constructed from improvisation premises and musical patterns that frame the cuerpx in diverse concepts and contexts that transmit the history, the poetics and the abstract of ¨being¨ and ¨estar¨.

It is a journey into the history of the bodies that inhabit the scene and that at the same time represents that of the migration of humanity itself. There is no precise synopsis or concrete words in the face of such a complex and impermanent choreographic construction; it is a prose that transforms and at the same time recreates new structures to refer to the body, the intangible, the imaginary, the sensitive, the bestial, the oneiric and the abstract.

There is no precise synopsis, there is only cuerpx.

What would you use this budget for?

The budget will be used to pay 20% of the cost of production materials for scenography and costumes, 80% of the fees for the dancers and creatives of the work.
