My name is Lauren Little, aunt to Emma and Ellie Davison. Identical twins Emma and Ellie were born six weeks early on August 21st to Lindsey and Rob Davison. They seemed to be two beautiful healthy little girls, although small due to prematurity. They spent 2 weeks in the NICU gaining weight and growing. The girls were discharged home two weeks later.
Three months later we found out something was seriously wrong with the twins.
Lindsey and Rob have been working with a geneticist in Nashville to help determine what type of genetic disease the girls have. This takes a lot of time and money. They have also been advised to see a specialist in Boston and Atlanta to help diagnose the girls.
We are asking for help to be able to fly the family out to get the care the girls need. Lindsey has just come off of maternity leave and does not have paid time off available. Our mother has quit her job in order to give the girls the care they need. They cannot go to a normal day care due to the fragile state they are in . They need someone who has the time and patience to devote solely to them. We need help to pay for my mother's living expenses.
Lindsey and Rob are two of the most kind and giving souls. They would give you the shirt off their backs if asked. The time has come where they need our help to support their family. Let us all take the opportunity to give to them, as we know they would give to us.
