Pease remember this beautiful family in your prayers in this difficult time.
On January 27th of 2014, Carol McMillan heard the news that no one ever wants to hear........."you have cancer". She began treatment immediately and since then has been through six weeks of radiation and over thirty chemotherapy treatments. The side effects from the treatments left her very ill and she has not been able to work in six months. Her husband,Clint McMillan, has taken off work a lot from his commission based job to be by her side during treatments and expenses are adding up.
She recently found out that the cancer has metastasized to her adrenal gland and possibly an ovary which makes it stage four. Because she has maxed out on the number of chemotherapy treatments her body can handle at this time and because of the advanced stage of her cancer, she and her husband are traveling to Cancer Treatment Centers of America in Chicago. CTCA offers many breakthrough treatments that are not available locally, but their travel expenses will add to their financial burden.
This couple has always tried to help our community with numerous charity and fundraising efforts but now they need our help.
