Kenny's New Heart

It is not typically my way to ask for money. I have trouble with the knowledge that I cannot take care of my own. However,  we were not prepared.

Kenny has muscular dystrophy. It caused difficulty with his heart and he has been on medication for a few years. However, in the space of one month. He started going downhill and is now in the hospital on the heart transplant list. He cannot come home until he gets the new heart due to the types of medications he is on to keep his heart functioning. This time frame is approx 2-6 months, with a recovery time post surgery of another month. 

Needless to say, this is going to be expensive. I cannot see a future without massive debt to start our ongoing medical expenses. After he is out of the hospital he will require approx 13 doctor appointments and 4 cardiac biopsies in the first 6 months.
