Farewell Trip with my Kids
After a long battle with Stage 4 breast cancer my health and quality of life are diminishing fast. After 3 years of chemotherapy, I am finally running out of treatment options to keep me alive. The cancer has spread throughout my spine, ribs, sternum and pelvis, my liver and peritoneal cavity.
I am a single mum, now no longer able to work due to the debilitating side effects of chemo. My girls are my life - their resilience and positive attitude keep me going when I feel I have nothing left to fight with. My oldest daughter is in her early 20's and my youngest daughter is in her final year of high school.
I would dearly love to take my 2 daughters on a final family holiday so that they will have lasting memories of me which are happy and fun, not memories of me sick in bed or in hospital.
We have never been to New Zealand and have always wanted to go. It would be a dream come true for us if, with your help, we could make this happen.
