Fight for Valproate Victims

Donation protected
Our campaign to support  those harmed by anti-epilepsy mediciations taken in pregnancy by mum began in 2012.

The Independent Fetal Anti-Convulsant Trust (INFACT) was set up to fight for justice and  financial support for those affected who suffer from Neurodevelopmental disorders (Autism etc..), speech & language, hearing and vision problems and physical disabilities etc...

Our intention is to ensure that all those harmed by these drugs taken in pregnancy recieve a Government Care Plan for there future years, especially when their parents are no longer here to do it for them.

So far our campaign has been a great success already having changes made the Yellow Card (reporting scheme) and influenced the update of information now entered into the NHS.

We need your support to complete our campaign for the children harmed, especially by Sodium Valproate, the worst AED known for its harm to the fetus, and make sure they are looked after and live a near normal life.  Our heart goes out to those families who have laready lost children to Valproate and other anti-epilepsy drugs and we hope you are willing to support our cause and help us help those who continue to suffer with Fetal Anti-Convulsant Syndrome (FACS).

INFACT, following many meetings with Labour MPs, are extremely proud the the Labour Party in their Manifesto agreed to a Public Enquiry into Valproate in Pregnancyn should the win the Election.  Any funding raised beyond £2000 would be used to continue our campaign to ensure this happens.
