Jacob Shore's Transplant Fund

Jacob is our 18 month old son who was born with a very rare disease called Diamond Blackfan Anemia.  His hemoglobin was 4 at birth and he almost died from pulmonary hypertension and an enlarged heart.  He makes no red blood cells and a small amount of white cells which is even more rare.  He has had 30 blood transfusions in his short life and is neutropenic, therefore; we have to be very careful to keep him away from germs.  Jacob was on a trial of steroids from November - January in hopes of boosting his retic count to make red cells.  Unfortunaltely it did not work.  He is currently on Exjade to remove the iron from his liver in hopes that he will be ready for a bone marrow transplant in 6 months at Cinncinatti Children's Hospital.  All of his treatments have been expensive and the transplant will be even more.  We need your help in acquiring funds through gofundme.  Also you can be the match by ordering a swab kit through the website deletebloodcancer.org if you are between the ages of 18 - 55, in good health and good weight.
