Peterson Home Retirement Party!

My parents, Ed and Nancy Peterson, have provided foster care to over 150 children in California and Washington over the past 45 years. They have made a huge difference in every child's life, but many of those children will never be able to remember or thank them for their loving service. Ed and Nancy are now preparing to retire but there is no "retirement package" that goes along with this "career". I would like to be able to give them a party attended by as many family and extended family members and former foster children and families as possible... as well as the many agency, medical, therapeutic, educational professionals and friends that they have developed amazing relationships with during their many years of service. This life has been a blessing for my brothers and me and my children and my husband, Don, and I are now preparing to continue in their footsteps. This process just brings home to me the value of the relationships they have formed over the years and the fact that no "state" or "agency" will ever recognize just what a valuable asset they are losing when my parents retire. Please help me give them an amazing evening of recognition for everything they have meant to so many during the past 45 years!
