Kim’s Story: We Can Make A Difference
Imagine waking up one morning to find a weird lump on your throat. After getting it checked out right away, your worst fears are confirmed; stage 4 cancer, and a very rare form of cancer nontheless. two in 1 million! One of those two people, unfortunately, is our colleague named Kim.
Kim is a vibrant, beautiful young woman who still has her whole life ahead of her, and we want to help her keep it that way. Kim’s life has not been easy. She has worked extremely hard for everything she has, and continues to struggle financially just to make ends meet. Ontop of her daily hardships, Kim is now facing yet another obstacle, only this one is much larger than those that came before it.
This page was started by all of us here where Kim works. Being about 70 people strong, we are like family here. Right now, someone in our family is broken. Kim is facing so many financial challenges ontop of losing her health. The doctors are unsure how long Kim may even have to live, due to this type of cancer being so rare. It would mean the world to Kim and to all of us if her life could be made just a little easier while she begins to undergo chemo, biopsies, bloodwork, and other procedures. Kim is missing a lot of work for these procedures, and spending a ton of money on them. Therefore, paying her rent, car payment, and other finances is becoming increasingly difficult for her... maybe near impossible.
Please find it in your heart to donate to Kim's cause. Every donation makes a difference, whether it be 1 dollar or 100 dollars. Kim deserves a long, happy life after working so hard to get where she is today. Together, let's prevent it from ending too early.
