Stem Cell Transplant Expences

In December of 2012 I was diagnosed with stage IV SLL/CLL lymphoma. I received chemotherapy for the next six months and thought the cancer was gone at least for a while. My oncologist told me that if there is one kind of cancer to get it was what I had had. One thing I was able to boast about as I came out of treatment, is that I was able to keep my hair.
After two hospitalizations and a little over a year later in June of 2014 I was diagnosed with lymphoma again. This time it was changing into a more aggressive/faster growing type of lymphoma. I wanted to take a vacation before they started chemotherapy again.
My wife and I left on our vacation drive to Phoenix Arizona from Easter Nebraska. We spent the night in Pueblo Colorado and continued on our way stopping in San Luis, Colorado and then on to Taos New Mexico where we turned around because I was having extreme difficulty breathing. The return trip home took longer than expected because of a eleven day stay in the hospital in Pueblo for pneumonia in both lungs.
We finally returned home, with me on oxygen, start chemotherapy for the second time in three years. The next day we drove to my hometown to visit my mother in the hospital who passed away the next day. I started chemotherapy on July 28th 2014 and finished in November. This time I did lose my hair.
Now I’m asking for help since the only way to avoid another relapse in the lymphoma is by getting a stem cell transplant which will replace by bone marrow with that of the donor’s. I will need to miss up to 6 months of work and need to move to Omaha, NE to be closer to the Nebraska Medical Center which is going to do the transplant. We, my wife and I need to rent an apartment or extended stay hotel room for 100 days so that my conditions can be monitored.
