Help Long Wang Replace Stolen Items

Hey, my name is Long Wang. Yes, that is my real name. I'm a pharmacy student at UNC and currently in my last semester doing my clinical rotations all over North Carolina.

This month I was placed in Elizabeth City and was unable to find housing. So pretty much I've been living out of my car, commuting from my cousin's house in Virginia Beach across the border everyday to and from the hospital.

Unfortunately today, some jerk broke into my car while it was parked in the parking lot of a shopping center where my uncle's restaurant is, while I was helping out my cousin with stuff for the restaurant. I waited for over an hour in the parking lot tonight for the cops to show up and file a report only to have them tell me there's nothing they can do about it.

This thief stole my backpack--which has everything I need to help put me through graduation (which hopefully is this coming May 2015 if I can somehow make it now). It contained my new Lenovo Yoga laptop which I had JUST bought 2 days ago (a treat to myself with some of my loan money since this is my last semester of school and with winnings from a fantasy football league). My professional name tag given to all pharmacy candidates from my university as well as my hospital ID were in the back pack as well. They rummaged through my car and found my old Lenovo thinkpad which was hidden under books and my lab coat which had 7.5 years worth of my educational documents. All of my rotation material that I need to pass these last few months are gone. All of my notes, papers, files I need that could've been great study resources for my future board exams are gone. All the files are just gone. And that terrible person swiped my watch and my Kobe IX's. How's a dude supposed to get buckets now?

But in all seriousness, I am a broke graduate student. I am over $100,000 in debt paying for graduate school, helping my non-English speaking parents navigate paying all of our family bills, and helping out with my family's restaurant business. My twin sister and I are first-generation college students. Even though we both were brought up working in our family restaurant and continue to do so every weekend, I've always wanted to pursue something more. My education has brought me this far. I am THIS close to finishing my degree, but when most of our materials are now digital given the transient nature of my rotation schedule, this is going to be a real hardship for me.

In short, I am a broke pharmacy student, commuting across the NC-VA border twice a day, pursuing big dreams that have always seemed unreachable. Someone stole some really important items from my car and I cannot afford to get it back.
