Our Cambodian Volunteer Project

Hey friends and family! As some of you know, Chantelle and I are leaving in February on a trek to SouthEast Asia. While we're there, we are going to volunteer and sponsor a project in Cambodia with the MyGapYear Foundation . It will be happening this March in the Siem Reap area. Our goal is to raise $1700 to build a durable home for a family. These familes typically live in shacks made of cardboard and bamboo. No water, no electricity, and futile protection from the rain.
What we are asking is to call upon all of you to assist in changing a family's lives by offering a personal donation to our cause. ANY donation is accepted and greatly appreciated! Whatever you think is fair.
When we reach our goal with these donations, Chantelle and I will build a home!
Many of us guiltlessly spend $50 dollars on a meal out or $100 for drinks at the bar, or $5 dollars for that tasty MochaFrappoLatte (myself included)! If you have it in you to sacrifice one of these single expenditures, ONE TIME, you could dramatically better the lives of people who will never know the luxury of our every day lives. And these children, especially need a home! It's powerful to think about.....
