Dear Friends and Family:
I am very fortunate to be going to see my friends in the Dominican Republic again at the end of February. This will be my third mission trip and as you may know on the past two trips we have built or repaired homes, built a playground for the school, participated in a medical clinic, and provided PCs for the school. Most of all, we have really bonded with our DR partners which I hope will last a lifetime. This year will be very exciting as we plan to help with the expansion of the school at Fuente De Vida church. This a very good thing because the school is growing fast and now has about 250 kids. So many parents want their kids to get a great education and it gives them the best opportunity for a better life.
There are 12 of us that are proud to be representing Willow Creek Huntley Church on this mission trip. My point in writing this email is to provide you with way to support us. Many of you have asked in the past how you can help. There are two things you can do, first follow us on Facebook at “2015 Friends of Willow Huntley DR Mission Trip” and second, if you can, make a donation towards funding the trip and buying needed supplies and equipment. There are two ways you can make a tax deductible donation:
1. Send a check made out to “WCCC” or “Willow Creek Community Church” to me at 300 N Harrison St., Algonquin, IL 60102 (please do not write my name on the check). Or you can give me cash or a check the next time you see me if you want, or,
2. Donate on this website. We get 92% of what is donated as they take credit cards.
