So I'm not really sure what to say or how to say any of this..so for anyone who may be reading this thank you for anything you may be able to contribute to us during this time. Mathew and I never planned or expected to be pregnant so soon after having our son Tanner. McKenna was a huge surprise and the biggest blessing to come into our lives next to Tanner. I never imagined I could love another person as much as I loved him but in the last 7 weeks she was alive and the entire pregnancy but we quickly fell in love. She had her daddy and I wrapped around her tiny little fingers even her big brother. For those of you who are interested in knowing what we know for now read on if not let it end here..
On Monday January 26th I came downstairs with our 2 year old son and found McKenna unresponsive with Mathew asleep on the couch. From what we know she had rolled over in her sleep, she was still warm to the touch so we were all very hopeful since she was alive about an hour before that when he was feeding her. I called 911 while Mathew performed CPR and she made some noises...Paramedics then took her to the emergency room where we followed. From what the doctor has told us they performed CPR all the way to the hospital, they pumped her stomach and stuck a tube through her nose, and tried a ventilator..They were never able to get a pulse. The doctor said there was no heartbeat or brain activity. We have no offical cause of death as of yet since she also had reflux but now you all know what we know. I hope those of you reading this can find it in your heart to donate and help us provide the proper burial and send off for our little angel. I am still on maternity leave so I have no income. Every little bit counts no matter how much. God bless and thank you to everyone for being there for us during this time.
