As you are aware Puerto Rico was hit by Hurricane Maria on September 20, 2017. The result have been devastating through out the island. While my family is physically safe,thank God, my parents suffered major damage to their home and vehicles. As of this date my parents haven’t received any help from the federal, state or local government to help rebuild their home or even supply them with basics such as bottled water. 90% of the island is still without power with no prospect of being repaired in the near future. Also, supplies at the supermarket are sparse or outrageously priced. The cost of rebuilding and replacing the vehicles is well over $50,000. Thank you for considering. Any little bit will help and would be greatly appreciated! This campaign will end December 1st, at which time I, Claudette Vazquez, will withdraw the funds and will wire to my parents.
