Hi, I know it’s a bit strange to think to yourself, why should I donate to a stranger who I don’t know? Well, I’ll tell you why… we as humans need each other to prop each other up when we are down, and right now, I’m below sea level.

I worked for a security company, and I mean faithfully. I pulled 24-hour shifts, worked 100+ hours and more. I worked here because it helped me get an apartment (not the best, but I’m blessed and loved it) and a car that I use to work. However, this job had complications paying people. Now, you’d probably think the normal response is to leave and go find something else, which I say is fair, but it was never to the point that I never saw a check for longer than maybe a day or two. Once I had it, I’d pay my bills and move on my way.

Recently, however, things have taken a turn for the worst. This company just stopped paying altogether. And when I try to get my check or make calls, they don’t answer, and even when they do, it’s not even enough to cover my car payments. I need help more than anything, and it would help for anyone who can hear this story and donate just a little bit to help me out just this month. I’m a hard worker. I’ve worked security in the toughest climates. I just wanted what everyone else wants: a pursuit of peace and comfortable living. I’m begging anyone who would spare even five bucks to help me get through this and make something shake.

I have a new job but I wouldn’t make it in time to make a change on the eviction I got till the 16th so if anyone has a heart and is willing to donate I’d be grateful beyond words.
