Funds for Frankie

Lil’ Frankie Debusk was playing football at recess yesterday, something we all know he loves to do, when he jumped to catch the ball and fell head first onto the cement.  He sustained a pretty serious brain injury from the fall and was rushed to the hospital.  After arriving at St. Mary’s, he was given a CT scan which showed that he had some bleeding on his brain.  He was then airlifted to Chicago’s Comer Children’s Hospital where he is in the Intensive Care Unit.  His CT scans are still showing spots of blood today, but they seem to be getting smaller.  Although this is a good sign, Frankie still isn’t in the clear.  What Frankie and his family need most right now are prayers.  Prayers for Frankie to fight, prayers for a speedy recovery, and prayers for his family to stay strong.

We know this family is tough, but everybody needs a little help sometimes.  As you all know, medical costs accumulate fast in these situations.  Naturally, the Debusk’s only concern is Lil’ Frankie’s condition, we are all worried about that, but whatever we can do to help in the meantime I’m sure would mean the world to them.  Anything that you can spare will be going to medical costs accrued with Frankie’s fall.  Every little bit counts and with this campaign we can show Frankie and his family just how much they are loved.
