<div>OK, well things have changed as far as funds go. I really appreciate everyone’s support through this process I’m going through.

<div>besides the unexpected passing of my husband 10/8/23 and my diagnosis shortly after that, surgeries and treatments galore, the treatment not working, trying something else. I’m going for my 4th round of heavy chemotherapy tomorrow. Making me sick for the next 2 weeks.
</div>
<div>my mom is here helping me which is very helpful except now she is sick, I’ll just say she will be later up for 6 weeks after the 10/15.
</div>
<div>I am unable to go out and sell my crystals, had to give up cleaning houseboats over a year ago. Times and income have changed drastically.
</div>
<div>I have support in my very good friends and some family. I have a care giver now for a few hours a day. Very helpful when I’m sick.
</div>
<div>so basically I’m just having a hard time with bills I have racked up in the past couple of years just trying to make ends meet.
</div>
<div>anything will help, and I hate even doing this, but I’m hoping to reach caring people, even strangers who read this that will see my story and want to help.

<div>Hi, it’s me, Kathy. I’m starting this GoFundMe for myself because <strong>I recently got not-so-good scan results after my chemotherapy ended in January.</strong> I’m still doing immunotherapy My cancer has spread and is now stage 4. My plan is to fight, with all I got! My deal is I’m alone with my mother; we are both in a fixed income, and really barely making ends meet. We have done research on starving cancer cells and other things and I am determined to beat this by eating well and going through what my doctor thinks is best.

<div>Eating healthy, and the vitamins, supplements, teas, and such I want are expensive. Not having much left over after bills won’t make a very happy journey for me.

<div><strong>update; live biopsy came back as lung cancer also positive for metastatic disease which means I’ll be fighting from here on out. Hopefully I’ll be able to beat this and it won’t come back often. </strong>

<div><strong>I have switched my treatments over to the queen of the valley hospital in Napa which makes it more convenient to ask for rides and get other errands done.( Plus I did not intend to switch to Saint Helena in the first place. The queen is my jam. )</strong>

<div><strong>I know I initially started this GFMe to help pay for my supplements. I did go on a special regimen and diet for a few months, then got sick w digestive problems. Had a colonoscopy and found I have colitis. I had to stop all supplements while I was sick and still I cannot take them. I’ve started on a medication to hopefully reverse this colitis. </strong>

<div><strong>what I want to report is that some of the monies have gone to other that supplements. I have lost 30+ lbs, quick. None of my clothes fit, so I had to purchase some that does. </strong>

<div><strong>I paid my registration on my car, as well as I had to avoid a lien on my home because I didn’t pay taxes last year. </strong>

<div><strong>its hard to know what money to put where since Lee passed. </strong>

<div><strong>so I just wanted to be transparent in where I’m spending $ that was so generously donated. I don’t take it for granted. </strong>
