Title: Helping Jaze Rebuild Her Life After a Devastating Scam
I’m reaching out on behalf of Jaze, a resilient and compassionate woman who’s faced unimaginable challenges and is now in urgent need of support.
Jaze’s journey began with a devastating scam in Toronto, where she lost her savings to a fraudulent rental deal. She had paid a down payment and first month’s rent online, believing everything was legitimate, only to discover she was scammed. This forced her to leave behind most of her possessions and live out of her van.
Determined to start fresh, Jaze drove across the country to British Columbia, seeking warmth and new opportunities. However, along the way, she encountered more obstacles. In Lethbridge, her van broke down, and she had to replace the thermostat, costing her $400 she could barely afford. Now, she’s in Burnaby but still struggling with heat issues in her van as colder weather sets in.
Despite all of this, Jaze remains hopeful and determined to rebuild her life. She’s faced significant mental and financial challenges, and right now, she needs our help more than ever.
Your donation will help Jaze:
Insulate and repair her van to stay warm
Replace essential items she lost
Cover basic needs like fuel, food, and supplies until she can find stability again
Even small contributions can make a huge difference. And if you can’t donate, please share her story — spreading the word is powerful too.
Jaze has always believed in Buddhist philosophy — “We are all just humans, doing the best we can.”
With your help, she can continue her journey and find the stability she deserves.
Thank you for taking the time to read and support her journey.
With gratitude,
A friend who believes in Jaze
