I have had epilepsy for awhile now.  Finally was able to find a good combination of meds that have kept the seizures to a minimum. Now they r returning. We have been trying out different options for awhile and helps temporarily.  I’m going blind rapidly in my left eye. And the ambulatory EEG showed continuous spikes in my left hemisphere that I didn’t have before. Now brain surgery is my best shot at keeping seizures from getting worse and preserving my life span. To say the least, I’m terrified. And I don’t have the money to pay for everything this entails
That is it in a nut shell. I’m scared of ALL of this. I need this operation but I can’t until I can somewhat afford it.
