Kyubii

My baby boy, Kyubii, came home today bleeding from his nose and mouth. We took him to the animal hospital and found out he got hit by a car and broke his jaw (his mandible is split)and has some trauma in his lungs. His condition is treatable, they will have to wire his mandible together, but will cost a lot of money. We are looking to raise $4000 for his treatment. The doctor is keeping him overnight with oxygen to help him breathe and will let us know when they'll do the surgery. It will either be some time tonight or tomorrow morning. He is under some pain meds to help him relax. With no complications, we should be able to take him home tomorrow afternoon or on Sunday. I know a lot of people won't understand why we would spend this kind of money on a cat that has no special breed but he is a very special cat -- he is our baby, he is family. He's a survivor. He got attacked as a kitten, before we got him, so he's been blind in one eye, deaf in one ear and didn't learn how to "meow" til after a year, we used to call him "Squeaker" (lol). So, NO, we're not gonna euthanize him because his treatment is expensive. We're counting on friends, family and people who understand what it means to have a fur baby to help us in any way they can. We love our Kyubii so much and we just want him back home. His doggy sister, Eris, misses him already. Please pray with us! We are very grateful for all of you!
