Kyles 100 hole marathon for Children with Type1 diabetes
Tax deductible
Hello! My name is Kyle Guthrie, and I am a PGA golf professional and on May 13th, 2025, I will be joining my fellow PNWPGA pros in the 100 Hole Marathon - a goal to play 100 holes of golf, sun up to sun down, in a single day to raise money for local charities.
I will be raising money for Camp Leo for Children with Type 1 Diabetes, a youth camp designed for kids with type1 diabetes. Type 1 diabetes is an autoimmune disease where the pancreas does not produce enough insulin to regulate one's blood sugar. My sister has type 1 diabetes and growing up she went to Camp Leo every summer and I know how much of an impact it had on her life. Many kids who have type1 diabetes do not know anyone else who has it so it can be a lonely battle for them. Camp Leo provides those kids a safe space to learn more about their diagnoses, make new friends, and empower them to live fulfilling lives.
My goal is to raise $2,000 and I will personally donate $5 for every birdie I make over the 100 holes. Follow along on my Instagram, @kjguthrie_13, on May 13th as I play 100 holes in a single day!
