He’s a straight-A student on the President’s List Honor Roll, pouring his heart and soul into earning his engineering degree. Kyler is one of those rare young people who inspires everyone around him—with his unbreakable drive, infectious spirit, unmatched work ethic, kindness toward others, and remarkable self-discipline. He wins over every heart and mind he encounters, and as his parent, I’ve watched him grow into someone truly exceptional.

To focus entirely on his studies during the school year without the added stress of juggling work and classes. With his hard-earned money, he bought himself a used Suburban—a reliable vehicle to get him to and from campus. He was all set to head out for school first thing in the morning, excited for the semester ahead.

<div>But tragedy struck just two weeks after he got the car. While driving, Kyler hit a massive elk that darted into the road. The impact totaled his vehicle, leaving him devastated and stranded. We’re beyond grateful that he’s safe—hitting such a large animal could have been far worse, and the Suburban’s size likely saved his life. Still, this accident has shattered his plans and wiped out the savings he poured into the car.
