Kyler's Bison Bill

On Saturday (6-1-2019) I took my parents to the Frary Peak trail on Antelope Island to see the wild flowers. A trail I love and have ran many times.
I ran ahead and crested a blind hill into the bison. I immediately turned to head away, but one charged me. It gored me in the hip and shoulder and sent me flying into the air and down the hill. I was then kicked and trampled, cracking a rib and cutting my head in the process, before the bison moved away. I yelled for some nearby hikers to call 911 as I lay in a ball hoping the bison wouldn't attack again.
I was life flighted off the mountain. After being x-rayed and cat scanned, I was stitched up and received a tube in my chest to keep my lung from collapsing.
