Kyle Armstrong Recovery Fund

Donation protected
Our dad, Kyle Armstrong, suffered a rare stroke on Thanksgiving day (2014) that left him quadriplegic. After months in the hospital, we are nearing his discharge and we need to prepare our home for his arrival. As happy as we are to have him home soon, we know there is still a long road of recovery ahead. He's made some progress in rehab but will continue to need intense physical, occupational and speech therapy.

Our home is two stories with a finished basement. It requires extensive renovations to bring him home including widening doorways, installing ramps, creating a bedroom on the main floor with a full bathroom, replacing all the main floor carpeting with hard flooring and possibly adding an addition on the back of the house for the bedroom. On top of the renovations, dad will continue to require 24/7 care. We also hope to purchase a handicap vehicle.

The funds we raise here will contribute to dad's medical expenses and our home renovations. Medical expenses include hiring at-home help, medical equipment for the home and existing medical bills.

We appreciate every donation, thank you for your support!
