Hi friendos! My name is Cas, I'm a trans masculine goof from Brooklyn, NY, and I am raising money for my top surgery on February 11th, 2019!
I can't believe this day is FINALLY approaching... It is surreal and wonderful and terrifying all at the same time.
I'm raising money to cover the cost of care, rent, food, and transportation during my recovery. Here is the breakdown!
-$1,530 for 2 months rent
-$480 for car services to and from weekly doctors appointments for a month
-$200 for groceries for me and my caretakers
-$300 buffer for medical supplies, emergency appointments, friends comin' to care for me, and the unforeseen (wOoOoOo).
-$2,520 for Nyx Hills. This is the big one. My gorgeous and wonderful friend has agreed to stay with me and provide around the clock care for the first week of my recovery. They will not be able to attend any of their jobs while they do this, and it is VERY important to me that I make it worth their while (even though I'm going to have to force them to take the money anyway). This amount would cover $15 an hour for the week, but if I'm able to, I would love to be able to pay them more!!
Extra money will be donated to gender-affirming surgeries for other folks, so the more we raise the better!!
