UPDATE***** Unfortunately my good health only lasted about three months after my gall lager surgery.  Since about March of this year I have been hospitalized any where from one week to 11 days in the hospital each month. As of today I am $87,000 in debt due to medical/home bills.   I am asking again that if there is any way you can help, it would be much appreciated.  Helping can be defined as donating, sharing my story, and/or becoming an organ donor to help save someone else's life.

As many of you know I've been through a lot healthwise in the last four years. For those of you that may not, in 2009 I went into kidney failure as a diabetic complication. The day after I got home from the hospital I fell and broke my ankle which resulted in surgery that included a metal plate on each side of my ankle and a steel rod starting from my knee. Due to the fluctuation in my weight from dialysis the screws started to come out in each plate. I ended up having nine surgeries in all on that leg for removal of one plate, repositioning screws in the other, and finally removal of the steel rod.

The dialysis was very hard on my body and I spent a lot of time in the hospital because of it.

Then in July 2010, due to medications I was on I went for a drive at 3 in the morning (in my sleep) and totaled my car, broke my knee, my wrist, and my ribs. I was in the hospital for a month recovering from that.

Then the good stuff... On October 21st 2010 I got a call and ended up having a kidney/pancreas transplant. Things went well for a while and then not so much. I spent a lot of the beginning of 2011 in the hospital again for various reasons.

Since then there have been some more hospitalizations some when I had no insurance due to loss of my disability because of the transplant.

My latest issue started in June, I had excruciating pain in the upper right side of my belly. I did some research and from my symptoms I thought it sounded like it could be my gallbladder, and with my first hospitalization that's what the ultrasound and CT scan showed.

My transplant docs didn't allow anything to be done because of the possible danger and at one point a doctor went so far as telling me it was shingles (I had no blister, no rash, just a doc that didn't want me to have surgery). I finally had my surgery on January 14th.

I haven't been able to work steadily since June, then not at all from December 1 through today.

These bills just keep coming and I am asking for help for the first time because I can't do this alone. I have had so much moral and spiritual support from all of my Facebook friends and my family. This time I'm asking for something a little different. Anything you can do will be greatly appreciated.

I'm also going to ask two more things, please consider sharing my story and once again please consider organ/tissue donation. You could save a lot of lives. Love to you all!
