Milwaukee Flyers Facility Renovatio

Mission

Established in 2005 by a group of concerned Milwaukee men, The Milwaukee Flyers Tumbling Team is a non-profit organization whose main purpose is to provide postive outlet for Milwaukee inner-city youth. Through the mentorship program, we provide our youth with the opportunity to learn the importance of responsibility, discipline and integrity. We focus on training our youth with the skills to achieve success on the tumbling team as well as preparing them for a bright future.

Success

During our five-year relationship with the Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center, The Milwaukee Flyers have experienced great success. We have learned invaluable skills and created wonderful memories. We have also grown a long waiting list of kids we are unable to accommodate in the MLK gym.

Gods planned 

Now, The Flyers have a amazing new opportunity!

The Rev. Leon Davis and First Lady Bertha Davis generously opened the doors of the New Hope Church in Christ to the Milwaukee Flyers by offering us the exclusive use of the church gymnasium. The only obstacle we have at this time is that the gym needs significant renovation before the Milwaukee Flyers can utilize the space.

Vision 

After the renovation The Milwaukee Flyers will have a recreation room, work out station, office space, kitchen, locker room etc.

Teaming up with the New Hope Church will allow the Milwaukee Flyers to initiate its own after school program five days a week! Our after school program will allow us to further connect with more inner-city youth with providing mentoring, goal setting, one on one tutoring, recreation, discipline etc.
